Super-vision
My aim is to help you thrive—enhancing your wellbeing, expanding your professional capacity, & enriching the care & support you offer to your clients

My Approach...

I offer a supportive, reflective, and relational supervision space where counsellors can build confidence, strengthen competence, and deepen their professional identity. My approach draws on two key models that bring structure, clarity, and depth to our work together:
-
Hawkins & Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model: expanding awareness across client dynamics, practitioner responses, the supervisory relationship, and wider systemic influences.
-
Proctor’s Three-Function Model: ensuring supervision remains balanced across formative (learning), normative (safe practice), and restorative (emotional support) functions.
These models create a flexible, holistic framework that adapts to your evolving needs while upholding ethical and professional standards.

How I Work...

My integrative style is collaborative and grounded in a humanistic ethos of empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard. Much like in counselling, I see the relationship as the foundation of effective supervision. My aim is to offer a safe, supportive space where you can explore your clinical work openly and without judgement.
I offer both structured and fluid sessions, depending on what best supports you, your learning style, and your clients. I provide thoughtful challenge that will always comes from a place of integrity and respect. My intention is to help you think deeply about your practice, build self-awareness, and develop confidence in your therapeutic choices whilst maintaining safe practice.

Why I Offer Supervision...

My interest in supervision grew from a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development. Supervision feels like a natural extension of my therapeutic work—an opportunity to contribute to the profession and support counsellors as they grow. I value the collaborative nature of supervision and the shared learning it invites. I am particularly drawn to its dynamic, multifaceted nature, which allows for creativity, multiple perspectives, and rich reflective exploration. Before beginning my counselling career, I managed a team of 30, developing strong skills in organisation, mentoring, and adapting to a dynamic role—qualities that naturally enhance my approach to supervision. I can work with:

-
Trainee and newly qualified counsellors - developing skills and professional identity
-
Counsellors setting up private practice, - offering both reflective and practical guidance
-
Experienced practitioners - seeking collaborative, thought-provoking supervision
